Born
and raised In Birmingham, (Irondale) Alabama, I got my first radio job
during my
junior year at Woodlawn High School. Since then my on-air radio and production career
has spanned over 30 years
with
stops in
Milwaukee, Memphis, Nashville,
Washington,
D.C., Boston and Tampa.
If
you've been in the Tampa Bay area since the mid 1980's, you may remember
me on
the legendary (Top 40) "Q-105", from 1985 until early 1989, nightly from 7-10pm.
Starting
in late 1989 and through 1990 I was on
afternoon drive, 3-7pm, on "Power 93, The Power Pig".
(Billboard magazine's TOP 40 radio station of the year in 1990)
I've had my Production/Voiceover business up and running since October
of 2003 and am
fully equipped with a digital audio studio,
with broadband internet
for lightning-quick
(MP3 and WAV) transfers.
I've voiced and produced audio for just about
every kind
of
radio and TV commercial you can think of... from screaming auto dealerships
to
monster halloween reads to soft spoken day care
commercials. I also voice and
produce message-on-hold,
audio marketing reads and
any web site audio needed.
One
of my claims to fame is being extremely organized and very professional
with quick
turnaround time. I will not stop until I know the project
I'm working
on
is perfect
and is exactly the way my client wants it.
I'm a born again
Christian.
I enjoy cruises (20 so far), fine dining, photography
and all kinds of music
from
Top 40 oldies, classic rock, smooth jazz and blues to disco funk &
dance.
I also
have a passion for college football and am a huge "Alabama Crimson Tide"
fan.
